In the town of Dhiban, east of Deir ez-Zor, a group of diesel fuel traders staged a protest demanding compensation for shipments seized since April, due to the interim Damascus government's repeated delays in resolving the issue.
The protesters demanded justice and compensation for their losses, calling on the competent authorities to expedite the resolution of the case and not to convert the compensation into a different currency, but rather to disburse it in the currency in which the shipments were used when they were confiscated. This, they argued, would ensure they do not suffer further losses due to fluctuations in exchange rates.

In Syria - Deirezzor large scale protests are being held by residents of Deirezzor after the Syrian Government ran out of new Syrian banknotes at the exchange stations.
The exchange of the banknotes will officially be suspended on the 31st of July - today already, the exchange stations closed which leaves a large portion of residents with their entire savings being worthless.
Since tensions between the DeZ tribes and Damascus persist - the residents interpret the STG decision to bring insufficient reserves to the exchange stations as another negligence of the region.
Adding fuel to the fire: The STG has decided to block bridges and other roads in order to put the protesting regions under lockdown.

All of this happened within 1 day - no Syrian media outlet and none of their activists or Jolani-fanatics talk about it - even though these are significant developments; the STG putting entire areas of DeZ under lockdown and rallies with members expressing their wishes for violence - this is significant and would normally be major news.
However, they’re not - because the coverage of Syrian affairs is within the hands of a known cluster of Jolani-fanatics.
Outsiders will look at the events in Syria and conclude that very positive developments are happening solely because they only get to see the positive things.

The security vacuum in areas under the Damascus government allows attackers to move freely.
The shooting of the elderly Kurdish man, Saleh Kli Smo, in Raqqa, in an attack documented by one of the assailants, confirms the continued targeting of Kurdish civilians.
The Damascus government bears full responsibility for these attacks, given its failure to protect civilians and pursue the perpetrators.
