The areas of Tal Brak and Tal Hamis in the eastern Hasakah countryside are witnessing the activity of dozens of individuals who recently arrived in the province's rural areas. According to observers, these individuals specialize in media manipulation, inciting sedition, spreading hate speech, and promoting tribal militias through "absurd nationalist propaganda" on social media platforms. Among these elements stands out the name of “Ibrahim Haji Al-Halabi”, nicknamed (Abu Al-Tayeb), who was a resident of the city of Amouda and joined groups affiliated with the Turkish security services in the city of Serêkaniyê/Ras Al-Ayn, and he practices his activity in the areas of Tal Brak and Tal Hamis as a media figure and “Facebook activist”, and through this he established relations with a number of tribal leaders in the region.

Among his most prominent associates are Ismail Bari al-Mahmoud (head of tribal armed groups in the Tel Brak district) and Khader Abu Haitham (head of tribal armed groups in the Tel Hamis district).

His blogs and followers reveal that Ibrahim organized meetings in the region with tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, and local residents, exploiting the demands of families of ISIS members for the return of those transferred to Iraqi prisons by the international coalition, inciting them to participate in demonstrations on this issue. On the other hand, he directs a "Shabiha-like discourse" against employees of the Syrian Interim Government who were former members of the Autonomous Administration institutions, demanding their dismissal.

In addition, Ibrahim Haji al-Halabi incites the tribes of the region to demand that the Interim Government form an organization called the "Tribal Army in the Eastern Region," specifically in Tal Hamis, Tal Brak, al-Hawl, and Tal Kojer (al-Malikiyah), as a launching point for seizing control of al-Hasakah Governorate.

The irresponsible publications and hate speech disseminated by "Ibrahim Haji al-Halabi" indicate attempts to drag the region into strife between the tribes and the self-administration, as he continues his intensive activity in the region through the groups affiliated with him...
