The military movements have also extended to other areas along the border strip, including the village of Tel Wa’aw and the village of Al-Dukaykah in rural Safita in Tartus Governorate, along with reinforcements and deployments in the Zabadani Plain and Madaya in western rural Damascus, and the Qalamoun highlands stretching between Al-Nabk, Yabrud, Qara, Flita, and Al-Jarajir, reaching all the way to the border areas opposite Lebanon’s Baalbek-Hermel region.

In the same context, Observatory sources reported notable military activity in areas facing the northern Lebanese border, including the vicinity of the village of Al-Hissa in the Akkar district, near Qleiat Airport, which borders Syrian territory in rural Tartous.

In parallel with these movements, Observatory sources confirmed that Syrian forces have been withdrawing and transferring heavy weapons and military vehicles from areas in eastern rural Aleppo, including Manbij, Kobani, Tishrin Dam, Qara Qozak Bridge, and Maskanah, toward areas in rural Homs along the Lebanese border, a move that points to a significant reinforcement of military capabilities and deployments along the entire border stretch.
