Tom Barrack, U.S. Special Envoy for Iraq and Syria, is meeting with KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani in Erbil to talk about security and political coordination.

This is Barrack’s first official visit to Erbil as Special Envoy, coming right after his trip to Baghdad where he met Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi.

The discussions focus on the Erbil-Baghdad relationship and broader issues concerning Iraq.

The talks aim to improve coordination between the KRG and the Iraqi government, with the goal of greater stability through high-level dialogue.

The meetings are meant to set up a framework for ongoing cooperation between the KRG and the United States.

Secret Cells Receive Activation Orders!

Turkish intelligence agency MIT and HTS intelligence, which continue their dirty activities to dismantle Kurdish achievements, have activated the secret cells they established in Rojava.

The website Lekolin.org has shared detailed information about how many groups were formed, who they consist of, their locations, and their tasks. According to the obtained information, 5 groups have become operational in the Til Berak region. These groups aim to carry out attacks targeting QSD, YPG, and YPJ commanders and officials, internal security forces (Asayish), and some political figures. According to our sources, these groups are directly directed by Turkish intelligence officers and HTS intelligence service.

ISIS on Tuesday claimed responsibility for an attack targeting an oil tanker near the northern Syrian city of Manbij.

The claim comes days after a suicide bombing struck a security facility in Raqqa Governorate on Monday, killing two members of the Interior Ministry and injuring several others.

Syria’s state-run al-Ikhbariya news channel reported that security forces eliminated one of the attackers, while a second attacker detonated an explosive vest after being surrounded.

In a statement published by the ISIS-linked Amaq News Agency, the group said its militants had targeted a government-owned oil tanker with machine-gun fire near Manbij last week, causing damage to the vehicle.

ISIS activity has increased in the region in recent months, with the group carrying out attacks on oil tankers, setting fire to oil wells, and imposing extortion payments on residents and drivers under the guise of collecting “zakat” (alms). The group has also intensified attacks against government personnel and security installations.

The commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, arrives in Italy, and will then head to France.
