The Turkish State and the armed groups affiliated with it are strengthening their presence in Ras al-Ayn by establishing additional fortifications and military positions.

Turkish forces continue repositioning in Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye) and the surrounding rural areas by removing earthen trenches and evacuating positions, while simultaneously constructing new earthen trenches and establishing new positions.

They are also improving fortifications and infrastructure in military zones. This repositioning aligns with the objectives of consolidating their occupation in the region and facilitating reconnaissance, surveillance, and road control in coordination with pro-Turkish groups within the Syrian Interim Government.

The most prominent areas where fortifications, earthen trenches, and positions are being constructed are: the border line opposite the villages of Al-Dawoudiya, Tell Muhammed, Rashu, and Atiya Baghar, as well as the Triksek region.

The Turkish Armed Forces have also launched reconnaissance operations from the Dawoudiya, Menagh, and Azaz camps, and from the Tal Tamr and Zirkan lines—particularly on the Sheikh Farhan and Sheikh Suru fronts. Military training has intensified at the Dawoudiya camp and on the Sheikh Farhan front line near Zirkan.

Armed groups and Turkish forces have increased their movements along the front lines to organize and reorganize their units. In a related context, prior to the withdrawal of Turkish forces from these two areas, a technical maintenance team entered through the El-Şukriya border crossing to carry out repair work on the observation towers belonging to the Atık el-Hava and Ümmü Aşba regions.

Observers confirm that these movements constitute a reliable indicator that the Turkish state intends to maintain its presence in the Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye) region and will not withdraw from the area at this stage. Sources in the region state that the aforementioned maintenance teams are involved in technical tasks related to aerial surveillance and reconnaissance systems, and are not part of the established surveillance system in the Aleppo region.
