Druze prisoners in Adra Prison in Syria have begun a hunger strike to protest ill-treatment and conditions.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced that dozens of citizens from the city of Suweida, who were abducted during the July 2025 events and are being held in Adra Central Prison, have started a hunger strike.
The prisoners reportedly began the strike due to the poor humanitarian and health conditions and ill-treatment they are subjected to in Adra Prison, which is under the control of the Syrian interim government.
SOHR sources stated that the physical and psychological condition of the prisoners is deteriorating, and that there is no legal provision for improving conditions or releasing them in the near future.

This is the grave of the martyr Jiyan Tolheldan, the general commander of the YAT Counter-Terrorism Forces, who was in the front lines of the battle to defeat ISIS and terrorist organizations in defense of her people and the world.
She came from the ranks of the YPJ, and at a time when Kurdish fighters were confronting ISIS, Turkey was shelling them and supporting extremist groups.
She was martyred in Qamîşlo ( Rojava ) by a Turkish drone after many years of resistance.
And due to the occupation of Afrin by Turkey and its mercenaries, she was prevented from being buried in her city, so she was buried in Sheikh Maqsoud.

Today, the graves of the martyrs who defeated ISIS and sacrificed their lives are being violated by the forces of the “new Syrian army” (HTS), in a scene that reflects the continued targeting of those who gave their blood in the fight against terrorism.
As for what happened after the defeat of ISIS, it is a series of successive betrayals that affected the Kurds in Sheikh Maqsoud and across Rojava; where the international coalition led by the United States and France abandoned their commitments, and real support was withdrawn at a moment of need, repeating the same scene with regional and local parties that benefited from the victory without protecting those who made it possible.
This is a complete betrayal of the sacrifices that defeated ISIS on the ground.
But the truth cannot be buried, and the martyrs remain, and betrayal will remain a black mark in history.

Rami Abdulrahman, Director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
“Tom Barrack is the worst person to have handled the Syrian file.
He was not acting as a U.S. envoy; rather, he was an adviser to Ahmad al-Sharaa and the government in Damascus. He betrayed the Kurds, the Alawites, and the Druze, betrayed humanity as a whole, and turned a blind eye to the massacres.”

This was a member of ISIS, who was in Al-Qattan prison in Raqqa, and his name is Abu Rashid. Now he is free and roaming after the government of al-Jolani took control of Raqqa. He is raising the ISIS flag and chanting jihadist anthems in the city of Raqqa.
This is what Syria has come to, under the leadership of Tom Barrack, who served and continues to serve Turkey’s interests against the interests of the United States and Americans.
Let’s make jihad great again!?

In Qamishlo and Hasakah, thousands of people, led by women, took to the streets to show support for the YPJ!
The YPJ, which fought for years against the barbarity of ISIS, a scourge on the whole world, is the pride of humanity. Marches were held by residents across all cities of Rojava in support of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), where they expressed their solidarity with the female fighters and emphasized the importance of women’s role in defending society and strengthening its achievements.
This comes in opposition to the jihadist mentality of the authorities in Damascus, for whom women are merely tools in their hands, and they do not accept them in any other role.
