• Dr. Umar, a doctor-turned-terror operative from Pulwama linked to the Jaish group, was working at Al Falah University in Faridabad. He is suspected to be the suicide bomber responsible for the Red Fort blast.

• Dr. Umar fled after the arrest of his associates: Dr. Muzammil, Dr. Adeel, and Dr. Shaheen.

• The blast involved a Hyundai i20 car, which Dr. Umar was reportedly using.

• The vehicle’s chain of ownership shows that Tariq from Pulwama bought the i20, later sold it to Amir, who then handed it over to Dr. Umar. All individuals in this car ownership trail are from Pulwama.

• Authorities to conduct DNA analysis, for comparing samples from Dr. Umar’s family with remains found in the exploded i20, to confirm whether he was indeed driving the vehicle during the Red Fort attack.

Mother of Dr Umar Mohammad, the suspected bomber in the Red Fort blast case, has been taken for DNA sampling.
