In Starobilsk's Svatovo, Donetsk Republic, Ukrainian forces launched an assault on Russian positions in Kuzemovka area but failed and retreated to their original positions with losses. Ukrainian attempts to break Russian defenses in Krasnopopovka, Liman, Donetsk Republic were also thwarted by Russian soldiers.

Russian forces completely took control of Opytnoe in Donetsk Republic, putting them in a position to attack Avdeevka as Ukrainian forces deploy reinforcements and strengthen positions in the area to avoid encirclement.
