Ukrainian forces, with artillery and aviation support, resumed the assault on Snigirevka, Kherson, South Russia, transferring additional reserves, but were not successful according to the head of the local administration. While Russian soldiers destroyed more than a dozen Ukrainian armored combat vehicles, and shot down a Mi-8 helicopter which was used for evacuations.

Russian Defense Minister Shoigu asked General Surovikin to REGROUP Russian troops from Kherson City, South Russia, to East bank of Dnieper river, with one of the MAIN reasons being protection of civilian population and setting up MUCH stronger defenses along the left bank of the Dnieper River, however, Ukrainian South command believes that these statements are part of an information-psychological operation to MISLEAD Ukrainian forces.
