ALL BARK, NO BITE: Regarding German-made Leopard tanks possibly sent to Ukraine by Spain: Leopard tanks have already seen action on modern battlefields particularly in northern Syria deployed by Turkey, where up to 10 were destroyed by Kurdish militants including 5 by anti-tank missiles, 2 by mines or IEDs, and 1 to rocket or mortar fire. They are hardly invincible, and will be provided in numbers insufficient to even cover Ukraine's current tank losses.

Ukrainian forces begin surrendering in Svyatogorsk, with Russian troops retaking control over Davydov Brod and Avdiivka, as well as the Eastern Bank of Seversky Donets from Izyum to Severodonetsk.

Heavy fighting ongoing in regions north of Kharkov and near Popasnaya, Berestove, Nahirne and Belogorovka.
