presidential administration in town of #Sukhum.

People are expressing their disagreement over the detention of 5 opposition activists against the construction of multifunctional, commercial & residential complexes in Abkhazia.

Residents accuse the former head of #Krasnodar Krai, Aleksandr #Tkachev, of lobbying for the construction of these complexes.

The law has already failed once, but the opposition accuses the Abkhaz authorities of re-passing this law through Tkachev; building tourist complexes in the #Gagra region, exempt from local taxes, duties, etc.

Locals believe that the increase in uncontrolled residential development will raise #Sochi prices, the largest city in the tourist Krasnodar region, Southwest pre-war Russia.

A local concern is that #Georgians could also start buying housing in Abkhazia with Russian passports, including those who fought against Abkhazia in 1992.

No less concerning is America's long-time salivation dream of "destabilizing Russia from within." Who or what party is in cahoots?
