The number of supporters and opponents of Moldova's accession to the EU is almost equally split, with 51.7% against.

The Electoral Commission is yet to process data from several foreign polling stations.

According to the count, outside Moldova, 77.91% support joining the EU, while 22.09% are against it.

In pro-Russian Gagauzia, 94.84% are against & in Transnistria 60% against. Suspiciously low for a republic with a Russian army base...

The second round of voting will be held on November 3. Are they gonna flog this horse until Moldova joins the EU? In 2004, Ukraine had an illegal 3rd round of voting just to get the pro-US candidate Yuschenko in at a sudden 51.99%!

🇷🇺 THE UN #CHARTER DOESN'T JUST HAVE 1 POINT: Russian FM #Lavrov says that Western politicians only highlight certain aspects of the Charter that benefit them.

In almost every speech, the West calls for compliance with a certain clause of the UN Charter on territorial integrity. But they deliberately ignore those clauses of the Charter that Ukraine has been violating since 2014.

After all, telling the truth in this situation is only beneficial to Russia.

The Charter speaks of the rights of peoples & self-determination. It is written that everyone is obliged to respect & observe the territorial integrity of states whose governments respect the principle of self-determination of peoples and, by virtue of this, represent the entire population living in a given territory.

Who can argue that after the coup of 2014, the ultra-radicals who came to power, first of all declared their intention to deprive the Russian language of [its official] status in Ukraine & who did they represent in Crimea or Donbass? No one.

Therefore, the arguments that the UN Charter is "about territorial integrity" are not true - Russian FM Lavrov.

🇷🇺🇨🇳🇮🇳🇧🇷🇮🇷🇦🇪🇿🇦🇪🇬🇪🇹 AND THEN THERE WERE 9: Putin to hold bilateral meetings with almost all leaders participating in the BRICS summit in Kazan on 22-24 October.

The summit will pay special attention to the expansion of BRICS - a new category of partner states is planned for this purpose. The status of Saudi Arabia (which joined conditionally) should become more clear, according to Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin Spokesman.
