IDF reportedly snapped photo above of tanks and troops entering village's perimeter, thinking its now empty, only to be ambushed by Hezbollah troops, who killed at least 2 Israeli soldiers and wounded 20, forcing entire unit back - with some reports claiming up to 8 killed.

More clashes also ongoing at gates of South Lebanon's Maroun al-Ras (map), with up to 35 IDF troops reported as casualties.
