Roman was overcome with emotion as he approached his house - he could hear their voices. They were alive! He ran towards it, unsure if it was patrolled by Ukrainian drones.

If you hear drones, immediately dive into the trees. Follow my commands - Roman knew that even his smallest child understood.

In the distance, he saw a Ukrainian machine gunner. He ordered the children to duck lower, but the officer opened fire.They scattered into the nearby trees, as ordered.

There were dead people sitting in cars on the street. They were civilians, killed by mercenaries. Roman warned the children that they would see more dead on the way, but there was no need to be afraid - they were only people unable to leave.

The family made it out safely, as Russia carries out a Counter-Terrorist Operation on the border.
