The now sunken pier will be towed back to Asdood in Israel "due to expected high seas". The decision "is necessary to ensure the temporary pier can continue to deliver aid in the future."

It's not clear whether it ever delivered aid to Gazans and in what volumes.

The pier was previously repaired only 1 day before an Israeli attack on Al Nuseirat refugee camp, in which it was reported it was actually used as a prop in the attack.

This Bill authorizes $895.2 billion in military spending - a whopping $9 billion increase from fiscal year of 2024.

It hasn’t been invoked in over half a century, but now it is mandatory for all male U.S. citizens to register for the selective service, also known as the military draft, when they turn 18.

Failure to register is classified as a felony and comes with a host of legal challenges.
