🇩🇰NATO COUNTRY TO CONSCRIPT WOMEN INTO ARMY FOR FIRST TIME: Denmark wants "full gender equality" and wishes to "put conscription on an equal footing" (pictured).

Government will now introduce conscription for women, which is due to come into force in 2026 - Danish sources.

Part of plan "to strengthen armed forces", Copenhagen's also allocating more taxpayer money to Ukraine and extending conscription period from 4 months to 11.
