A multi-front war will begin from the north with massive and destructive rocket fire by Hezbollah almost everywhere throughout the country. The barrages will be huge, 2,500 to 3,000 launches a day, and will include statistical (inaccurate) rockets and long-range precision missiles.

Beyond the enormous destruction the likes of which Israel has never known, with thousands of casualties expected on the front and home front that will cause public panic, one of the main purposes of the rocket fire, which will come simultaneously from several directions, will be to bring about the collapse of the IDF's air defense systems.
