Sobchak is a far-left, liberal, pro-West "journalist" and virulent critic of the Russian Prez. Her father, Anatoly Sobchak, had employed Vladimir Putin in the St. Petersburg city administration in the early 1990s.

That's the end of their relationship, but we guess that's not as juicy.
