Alexander Bastrykin, Head of Russia's Investigative Committee, calls to deprive migrants with acquired Russian citizenship if they refuse military service in the Special Operation.
Around 600,000 people (mostly from Ukraine, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan - in descending order) are granted Russian citizenship every year. Many of those who are military aged males do not fulfil military service duties, on the grounds they were not born in Russia.
