He announces that Chisinau will not repay its $709 million debt to Gazprom, with both sides now preparing to litigate the issue.
We can almost guarantee said "cheaper gas" is actually Russian gas sold more expensively via a third party, and a richer EU nation is subsidizing its cost to Moldova.
