⚡️Iran stands up for Ukraine's territorial integrity after Russia questioned Iran's ownership of three small islands in the Persian Gulf.

🇮🇷 Tehran's disagreement was with the content of the Joint Statement on the strategic dialogue between Russia and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).

The statement refers to three islands in the Gulf - Abu Mousa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb, the territorial affiliation of which to Iran is disputed by the United Arab Emirates.

In turn, Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that it recognizes the territorial integrity of every country, including Ukraine, and this should be the top priority of all countries based on international law.
