🇺🇸🇱🇦 For context, cluster bombs are banned weapons by most countries - except Turkey, Israel, the US, Russia and Ukraine. However, it was the US that dropped 270 million cluster bombs on Laos between 1964 and 1973. Today, Laos remains the most heavily bombed country in the world.
❗️It is estimated that there are 75 million unexploded bombs remaining in Laos - 50 years later, civilians are still being blown up by them.
