2. "During the USSR, Ukraine was represented in the UN as an independent state."
When the UN was being formed in 1945, Stalin and Roosevelt agreed that 2 Soviet Republics - Ukraine and Belarus - would join independently of the USSR, in order to give them a special voting voice. This was based on the results of WWII, as they were the second and third Soviet Republics to suffer the most amount of casualties.
3. Russia did not exit the USSR first - see graphic.
4. "Crimea has always belonged to Ukraine" is contradictory to point 1.
