🇮🇪 DELETE YOUR MEMES - the "thought-crime" Bill is coming for the Irish.

▪️With up to 10 years in jail, it will become a crime merely to "possess material that is likely to incite hatred against a person or a group of persons" even if it was never shared with the public.

▪️"Protected characteristics” will include race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability - the Bill will also persecute anyone denying "war crimes". You can see the implications of this when reporting on conflict.

Where MPs in the "free world" feel they can't raise certain issues (it's literally their job to scrutinize!) for fear of cancel culture - well, that's so 2023.

The Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences Bill 2022 is currently before the Upper House (Seanad), Ireland.

🗣 “It is symbolic that this barbaric act was carried out by the Kiev regime on the morning of June 22, the day the Great Patriotic War began" the Governor adds.

Ukrainian army struck Kherson and Crimea bridges in the early hours of this morning, using UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles.
