🇮🇪 DELETE YOUR MEMES - the "thought-crime" Bill is coming for the Irish.

▪️With up to 10 years in jail, it will become a crime merely to "possess material that is likely to incite hatred against a person or a group of persons" even if it was never shared with the public.

▪️"Protected characteristics” will include race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability - the Bill will also persecute anyone denying "war crimes". You can see the implications of this when reporting on conflict.

Where MPs in the "free world" feel they can't raise certain issues (it's literally their job to scrutinize!) for fear of cancel culture - well, that's so 2023.
