🗣Russia was ready for a peaceful solution. Moreover, Kiev was, in general, close to such a solution. But such a solution did not suit Ukraine’s curators in the West at all - Medinsky.

Medinsky was Russia’s chief negotiator when Moscow and Kiev tried to negotiate peace in 2022.
