🇸🇾🇪🇬 After a 12 year absence from the Arab League - Syrian President al-Assad warmly shakes hands with Egypt's El-Sisi at the Arab League Summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
🇺🇦 Zelensky is also there (to beg for more money and weapons) - but wait, he just sanctioned Assad in March. That makes for an awkward ask! How does he expect to get his 30 shekels?

UPDATE: As a result of shelling of Shebekino, solid waste landfill caught fire. There were no casualties. Fire brigades are on site, putting out fires - Belgorod Governor.

👮♀⚡️Following the liberation of Artyomovsk, Donetsk Republic - what now?
Russia in Donbass will face the next decisive battle. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will not just run away beyond the Dnieper river, leaving behind towns and villages, Zelensky will of course not request negotiations, much less surrender. Not yet.
Ahead are a well-fortified by NATO Avdeevka, Druzhkovka, Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk and Slavyansk. The main defense line of the Kiev regime in Donbass runs along this axis.
The threat of a counter-offensive remains, bypassing the liberated city of Artyomovsk (formerly known in Ukraine as Bakhmut). Russia can cut off what's known as the "Seversk ledge” above Artyomovsk, prepare reserves and saturate the front line with the necessary forces and means.
There are reports of high losses for the Ukrainian army right now in Seversk, Donetsk Republic.
