🗣 Our official position concerning deployment of US forces to Iraq has not changed at all. We reiterate once again that the occupation forces are a legitimate target in Iraq and elsewhere across the West Asian region as long as they are present in Iraqi territories - PMU high-ranking official.

PMU, allied with Iran and regional resistance forces, led the main fight against ISIS and against the US occupation in Iraq.

🗣I used everything at my disposal to try to prevent this situation. The fact that it failed is not proof that it was wrong to try - Ex-Chancellor Merkel.

However, she controversially stated Minsk agreements were concluded only for Ukraine to "buy time" to prepare for conflict with Russia - make of that what you will! 🤷‍♀️
