Yet, the banks are the rule - not the exception - of crony capitalism's creed, as 186 other American banks expected to run into the same crash, threatened by "potential risk of a run" similar to that which befell SVB, with $300 billion in insured deposits facing potential losses according to recent study conducted by a team of economists at top US universities.
