🗣 The British fabricated the Salisbury chemical incident in order to start preparing their population and their allies for a confrontation that has now turned into a military-political war in Ukraine - Embassy.

Russian Embassy also sent a note to the British Foreign Office demanding to clarify situation with health and location of Sergei and Yulia Skripal.

The British government accused Russia of attempted murder on 4th of March 2018 after Sergei Skripal, a former Russian military officer and double agent for British intelligence agencies, and his daughter, Yulia Skripal, were allegedly poisoned in city of Salisbury, England - Russia denied the accusations, both Sergei and Yulia survived.

⚡️ Ukrainian authorities announce partial evacuation of civilians from Kupyansk, Kharkov region (East Ukraine) due to the front line approaching the city.

Reminder that initially Kupyansk was occupied by Russian forces on 27 February 2022.

On 22 September 2022, the battalion was instructed to leave, to prevent unnecessary Russian losses, due to a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Summary of Biden and Scholz meeting, which was mostly closed to media:

◾️The conflict in Ukraine was the only topic that both leaders touched upon in the part of the meeting open to media;

◾️ Scholz announced the need to demonstrate the determination of the allies to support Ukraine as long as necessary;

◾️Biden praised Germany for assisting Ukraine and putting pressure on Russia, including giving up its energy resources;

◾️The leaders discussed the progress in providing military and economic assistance to Kiev, and readiness to impose restrictions against the Russian Federation as much as is necessary.

⚡️Rheinmetall AG, German automotive and arms manufacturer, headquartered in Düsseldorf, may build a Panther tank factory in Ukraine, at a cost of 200 million euro - CEO Armin Papperger

UPDATE: Up to 400 Panther combat vehicles could be produced there, per year.

Papperger hopes a decision will be made within the next two months, negotiations with Kiev are underway.

🗣 Even if Germany gives Ukraine all 300 tanks of the Bundeswehr, this will not be enough, as the country needs from 600 to 800 combat vehicles to stand a chance against Russia" - Papperger.

The CEO also noted that Rheinmetall is working at full capacity, having already delivered 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and assembled 30 of the 50 Leopard 2A4 tanks.

⚡️Putin submits an agreement between Russia and Syria for ratification to the State Duma (Russian Parliament); the agreement seeks to extradite wanted persons to their country of origin, for criminal prosecution.

This will mainly affect extremist groups who war on the side of rebels in Syria, or attempt to carry out terrorist activity in Russia.
