CONCLUSION
To the best of the researchersโ knowledge, this is the first retrospective study which determines the association of Vitamin D status and COVID-19 mortality outcome. Older and male cases with pre-existing condition and below normal Vitamin D levels were associated with increasing odds of death. When controlling for age, sex, and comorbidity, Vitamin D status is strongly associated with COVID-19 mortality outcome of cases. Randomized controlled trials are warranted to investigate the role of vitamin D supplementation on COVID-19 outcomes and to establish the underlying mechanisms.

This is a lesson learned through yogic practice
We try to ignore, suppress, forget pain and trauma
Weโre afraid of it rising back up the surface to hurt us again
But the body stores the energy of these emotions
Especially deep in the connective tissues
So, in the long posture holds of yin yoga
As this fibrous web releases
So does the energy
In the posture
You remember things you thought youโd forgotten
And face the things you wish you had
But you realize it never hurts as much the second time
As the pain and trauma releases
You get lighter and freer
You must feel it to heal it
And thereโs no need to be afraid
