Adults it places in the wrong group must prove their age by credit card, video selfie or ID scan to reach age-restricted spaces, less than a year after a vendor breach exposed ID photos of about 70,000 Discord users.

‼️ BREAKING: Asus has been breached and is warning eShop customers of unauthorised access to part of its online store, where customer contact details and order records may have been accessed.

The company says it is not aware of any misuse so far but warns the data could fuel convincing emails, texts and phone calls that appear to relate to Asus orders.

‼️ BREAKING: An OpenAI agent gained unauthorised access to Australia's Medicare portal in June and reached files that were not intended for public access, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese revealed in New York.

Albanese says he told Sam Altman of Australia's "extreme concern" and said OpenAI took "way too long" to inform the government, calling the way it did so "unacceptable."

Evidence currently available shows no broader compromise of the Services Australia network, according to Albanese.

❗️ Iranian state media and a Russian Telegram channels spread fake AI images of a hack on the US-bound supertanker VL Prosperity, which triggered US Coast Guard and FBI cyber teams to board it last month.

They claimed hackers had cut the ship's communications for 30 hours near Gibraltar and disrupted its engine, posting photos of oil spraying in the engine room and a note ordering the captain to abandon ship.

The Coast Guard found malicious cyber activity aboard but reported no operational disruption or danger to the crew.

The images were AI-doctored versions of 2023 Facebook photos from the engine room of the container ship Milan Maersk, matching the originals down to the flange, gauge and paint markings.

‼️ BREAKING: The FBI hack exposed members of the Bureau's own secretive hacking team, leaving their addresses, phone numbers and in some cases their spouses' names in the stolen data.

Three entries in the list of 5,000 alleged FBI officials that ShinyHunters shared with media mention the Remote Operations Unit, which builds exploits and tools to break into targets' devices.

‼️ Five Indianapolis police officers have been charged over Flock license plate camera searches, accused of tracking romantic partners, spouses and women they met in public, with prosecutors alleging one officer searched more than 1,000 plates and used the data to engineer encounters.

Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears called the audit behind the charges "just the beginning" of Flock-related cases.

‼️ The Pentagon, the Secret Service and ICE's investigative arm bought phone forensics software from Oxygen Forensics that prosecutors say five Russians secretly controlled through a Cyprus holding company, while selling the same software in Russia to customers including the FSB.

Their CEO Lee Reiber was arrested in Idaho and Russian co-founder Oleg Davydov at London's Heathrow Airport before boarding a flight to Istanbul, and both are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

Prosecutors say Davydov moved the build servers to U.S. cloud computers so Reiber could tell federal buyers the code was built in America, while a team in Russia kept writing it.

In March, weeks after reports that ICE was using the software, Reiber told DHS that no Russian was involved in developing it, the complaint says.

The FSB used the Russian version, Mobile Criminalist, to unlock the iPhone seized from RFE/RL journalist Alsu Kurmasheva in 2023, according to case files cited by The Insider.

The complaint does not allege malicious code or unauthorized access to any customer's systems or data.
