The results of the March Android contest have arrived.

Out of the hundreds apps we received for the contest, we aimed to select those that demonstrated the highest speed and performance.

To identify them, we would typically run the 5th graph with four lines (zoomed out, checking / unchecking the red line) on older but popular devices (e.g. Samsung S5, Moto X and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4).

We discarded all the apps that failed to run or had performance issues in these cases. Likewise, we discarded all the apps that displayed each chart on a separate screen, as the contest goal was specifically to show them “on one screen”.

We also had to eliminate all apps that crashed in random cases. As a result, we selected one winner - @thankyou2. The app of this 26 y.o. engineer from St. Petersburg is the only one that runs fast and stable on all our devices and complies with the design guidelines.

@thankyou2 will receive $50,000 from Telegram.

We also have a runner-up – @where_is_s - who will receive $10,000 from Telegram. The app of this 30 y.o. engineer from Novosibirsk has fewer glitches and is almost as fast as @thankyou2’s.

We invite all participants of this contest to take part in the next and final stage of the Chart Coding Contest that starts this Saturday, on the 6th of April. Its prize budget will be another $150,000.

Tomorrow we will continue announcing the winners of the March Contest and sending you feedback on your apps.

⁣🤩 Le tabs stanno arrivando!
Negli scosrsi giorni sono stati rilasciati alcuni aggiornamenti per Telegram X beta per Android (l'ultima versione risualta essere la v. 0.21.6.1105 beta) e tra le vare aggiunte e i piccoli miglioramenti possiamo trovare finalmente un sistema di divisione delle chat: un elegante menu' a tendina

Per utilizzarle basta scorrere verso il basso in prossimità della scritta "CHAT" e continuando a tenere il dito sullo schermo selezionare tra: "private", "gruppi", "canali" e"bot" e poi rilasciare.

COME IMPOSTARE I BOT YTWATCHER E TWIMONBOT NEI CANALI TELEGRAM PER LA CONDIVISIONE AUTOMATICA!

Vi segnalo che di recente ho scoperto grazie ad una chat in un gruppo con Kojimo di @SpaceNerd la possibilità di integrare questi bot anche all'interno dei propri canali Telegram per poter condividere in automatico quando si carica un video o quando si va in LIVE su Twitch/YouTube o nei servizi di streaming presenti.

Come fare?
1) Avviare i bot (@ytWatchBot o @twiMonBot) in privato cliccando poi avvia in basso (o scrivendo /start nella chat del bot se lo usavate già).
2) Dal menù inline cliccare sull'icona "/" o scrivere /add nella chat (se state usando Twimonbot vi chiederà DOPO che piattaforma usate) e mettete il link o nome del vostro canale YouTube/Streaming(Youtube/Twitch/GoodGame/Mixer). Comparirà un messaggio per dirvi che ha aggiunto tale canale. Se ci cliccherete soprà potrete verificare se è quello giusto.
3) Una volta che vi ha aggiunto, scrivete /options, comparirà tra le voci Set Channel
4) A questo punto aggiungete tra gli admin dei vostri canali Telegram il bot che volete aggiungere (@ytWatchBot o @twiMonBot a seconda di quale state usando) dopo aver fatto amministratori nelle impostazioni del canale Telegram.
5) Tornate indietro e copiate l'username o link del vostro canale Telegram che trovate cliccando sul logo del vostro canale (da pc invece nella barra laterale con il canale aperto ovviamente).
6) Tornate nella chat con il bot e incollate l'username o link del vostro canale Telegram. A questo punto apparirà una risposta da parte del bot per dirvi che ha associato il canale.

N.B: Se vorrete togliere l'associazione dal vostro canale Telegram basterà sempre scrivere il comando /options nella chat del bot interessato e selezionare delete channel NOMECANAE. Poi semplicemente dal vostro canale Telegram rimuovere il bot dagli amministratori.
