WTM Ethiopia’s International Women’s Day 2026 celebration brought together more than 200 powerful community of builders, learners, and leaders committed to breaking patterns in tech.

From hands-on workshops to insightful panels and a high-energy hackathon, the day delivered practical learning, collaboration, and real-world innovation.

Participants explored game development, machine learning, and blockchain, while our panelists shared clear, actionable insights on building and sustaining careers in tech.

The hackathon was a major highlight, with 25+ projects addressing real challenges, from solutions supporting mothers to platforms celebrating Ethiopian culture and empowering women. Every team contributed strong ideas and execution.
