The Chinese respondents were asked to select countries they sympathize with from a list of 25 countries. Russia received the highest ranking (79.8%) and the US the lowest one(31%). Respondents appreciate the Russian foreign policy the most (73%) and that of the US the least.
The majority of the survey participants stands for a friendly policy towards Russia (74%) and a tougher stance towards the US (61%).
The Chinese also name Russia on the list of their most desired tourist destinations (58%), one of the most preferred places to get higher education (52%) and the country whose culture they find the most attractive (71%).
A vast majority of the respondents believe that Russia is important for economic development (79%) and has the highest influence on China (82%), while 79% consider this influence to be positive.

An attempt to kill the head of the city administration Andrey Shevchik was committed in Enerhodar.
On May 22, about 9AM, an explosion rang in the hallway of an apartment building on Kurchatov Street. According to the information available at the moment, an improvised explosive device of directional action was planted in the electric switchboard case in the hallway. The power of the explosion equaled 600 to 700 grams of TNT. As a result of the explosion, the head of Enerhodar administration Andrey Shevchik was injured. He is now in intensive care.
Shevchik had received threats from the Kyiv regime supporters repeatedly. There are suspicions that the Ukrainian sabotage group had been preparing this terrorist attackt for a long period of time. Obviously, the saboteurs did not care about other residents of the house who could have suffered from the explosion.

Enerhodar is a city, whose major employer is the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Both the city and the plant have been under the control of the Russian Federation since March 4.
Before the beginning of the special military operation of Russia in Ukraine, Andrey Shevchik had been a member of the Enerhodar city council representing the “Opposition Platform – for Life” party. After the city had come under Russian control, a self-organized public council was formed in the city. This council then dismissed the Ukrainian administration and appointed Andrey Shevchik the city head.
