ABBASSAMENTO REQUISITI CFU ED ALTRE NOVITÀ DEL BANDO

Qualche mese fa vi abbiamo raccontato delle proposte presentate alla Regione durante il tavolo tecnico di marzo. Con questo post vogliamo informarvi rispetto a quanto è stato approvato e sulle ultime novità. Troverete riscontro di queste novità nel Bando che dovrebbe essere pubblicato nel pomeriggio di martedì 16 luglio. In merito alla clausola voluta da Sciretti e dalla Regione che permetterà lo sfratto di studenti in occasione delle Universiadi, vi rimandiamo ai post precedenti.
RIDUZIONE CFU ULTERIORE SEMESTRE: partendo dal titolo, quest’anno abbiamo ottenuto una vittoria sconcertante sui requisiti di merito. Due anni fa abbiamo già ridotto in CDU per i corsi che, negli anni successivi, potessero conseguire meno di 60 CFU durante l'anno. Per l'ulteriore semestre però non si considerava che i crediti di tesi, sono conseguibili solo in caso di laurea e dunque non possono essere usati per soddisfare i requisiti di ulteriore semestre. Abbiamo dunque ottenuto che, per la domanda di ulteriore semestre, quei crediti non vengano considerati, ottenendo una RIDUZIONE CONSISTENTE per molti corsi (in particolare LM e LM a ciclo unico) che potete consultare nell’Allegato A2 del Bando. Abbiamo inoltre lavorato con gli uffici di EDISU per far riconoscere la riduzione di CFU anche per i corsi di Medicina, Odontoiatria, Medicine & Surgery, Biotecnologie mediche (LM) e Artificial intelligence for biomedicine (LM) [UNITO] e Physics of Complex Systems [POLITO] che erano stati ingiustamente esclusi.
AUMENTO IMPORTI PART-TIME: ci siamo accorti come, dal 2017/18, gli importi di Borsa di Studio per iscrittɜ part-time fossero rimasti invariati. Abbiamo dunque chiesto di creare un’unica fascia part-time con importi incrementati. Purtroppo, sebbene la proposta sia stata accolta, l’incremento è stato inferiore rispetto a quanto da noi chiesto. Ciononostante risulta una vittoria importante per tuttɜ lɜ studenti part-time.
AUMENTO IMPORTI FULL-TIME: in merito a questo tema abbiamo buone e cattive notizie. Gli importi aumenteranno SOLO PER LE PRIME 2 FASCE, lasciando dunque invariati gli importi delle fasce 3 e 4 nonostante la nostra richiesta di includerle e adeguarne gli importi. La Regione, da almeno 2 anni ormai, si limita a fare il minimo sindacale, non accogliendo la nostra istanza di adeguare all’inflazione anche le borse di chi ha un ISEE > € 17.537,51.
AUMENTO SOGLIE ISEE/ISPE: allacciandoci al punto precedente, qui diventa chiara la volontà di non investire nel Diritto allo Studio da parte della Regione Piemonte. Sebbene abbiamo presentato ben 2 volte alla Regione la richiesta di incrementare le soglie ISEE/ISPE massime, quest’ultima ha deciso di ignorare quest’istanza, usando come scusante la presenza delle elezioni e la volontà di non “impegnare” la giunta successiva (che difatti è praticamente identica alla precedente). Ancora una volta, le istituzioni mancano di riguardo verso le crescenti necessità di noi studenti universitari che abbiamo a che fare con spese ed affitti sempre più alti.
RIMBORSO SPORT: abbiamo ottenuto che potranno richiederlo, con priorità, anche studenti idonei di borsa (nella malaugurata ipotesi in cui dovessero riapparire). Abbiamo inoltre lavorato con gli uffici e, dall’anno prossimo, la procedura permetterà di presentare ricevute per un periodo più lungo nonché includerà anche lɜ studenti sospesɜ nella graduatoria di Dicembre che risulteranno idoneɜ/vincitorɜ in quella di Aprile (che quest’anno non hanno potuto farne richiesta).
DOMICILIO NELLA SEDE DEL TIROCINIO: abbiamo richiesto ed ottenuto che lɜ studenti fuorisede possano presentare un contratto relativo alla città presso cui svolgono tirocinio e/o tesi in azienda al fine del riconoscimento dello status di fuorisede.
BANDO IN INGLESE: per la prima volta, finalmente sarà disponibile l'intero bando in lingua inglese, a beneficio di tuttз lз studenti internazionali.

LOWERING CFU REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER NEWS IN THE CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIP
A few months ago we told you about the proposals submitted to the region during the March technical roundtable. With this post we want to inform you with respect to what has been approved and the latest news. You will find feedback on these news in the Call for Proposals that should be published on Tuesday afternoon, July 16. Regarding the clause wanted by Sciretti and the Region that will allow the eviction of students during the Universiadi, we refer you to previous posts.
ULTERIORE SEMESTRE CFU REDUCTION: Starting with the title, we had a staggering victory on merit requirements this year. Two years ago, we already reduced in CDU for courses that could achieve less than 60 CFUs during the year in subsequent years. For the additional semester, however, we did not consider that thesis credits, are achievable only in the case of graduation and therefore cannot be used to fulfill the additional semester requirements. We have therefore obtained that, for the additional semester application, those credits are not considered, resulting in a CONSISTENT REDUCTION for many courses (especially LM and single-cycle LM), which you can see in Attachment A2 of the Announcement. We also worked with EDISU offices to have the CFU reduction also recognized for courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Medicine & Surgery, Medical Biotechnology (LM) and Artificial intelligence for biomedicine (LM) [UNITO] and Physics of Complex Systems [POLITO] that had been unfairly excluded.
INCREASED PART-TIME AMOUNTS: We noticed how, as of 2017/18, the scholarship amounts for part-time enrolleesɜ had remained the same. Therefore, we asked to create a single part-time bracket with increased amounts. Unfortunately, although the proposal was accepted, the increase was less than what we asked for. Nevertheless, it turns out to be an important victory for allɜ lɜ part-time students.
INCREASED FULL-TIME AMOUNTS: On this issue we have good and bad news. The amounts will increase ONLY FOR THE FIRST 2 BANDS, thus leaving the amounts for bands 3 and 4 unchanged despite our request to include them and adjust their amounts. The Region, for at least 2 years now, has merely been doing the bare minimum, not accepting our request to also adjust for inflation the grants of those with an ISEE > € 17,537.51.
INCREASED ISEE/ISPE THRESHOLDS: Tying in with the previous point, here the Piedmont Region's willingness not to invest in the Right to Education becomes clear. Although we have submitted 2 times to the Region the request to increase the maximum ISEE/ISPE thresholds, the latter decided to ignore this request, using as an excuse the presence of the elections and the desire not to “commit” the next junta (which in fact is practically identical to the previous one). Once again, the institutions lack regard for the growing needs of us college students who are dealing with ever-increasing expenses and rents.
SPORT REFUND: We have obtained that eligible scholarship students will also be able to apply for it, with priority (in the unfortunate event that they reappear). We have also worked with the offices and, from next year, the procedure will allow receipts to be submitted for a longer period as well as include lɜ students suspended in the December ranking who are eligibleɜ/victorsɜ in the April ranking (who could not apply for it this year).
DOMICILE IN THE CITY OF THE INTERNSHIP: We have requested and obtained that lɜ out-of-town students can submit a contract related to the city where they are doing their internship and/or thesis in the company for the purpose of recognition of out-of-town status.

NUOVA SALA STUDIO E NUOVA APP
Questo post vuole annunciarvi due importanti novità nel panorama delle sale studio EDISU.
Innanzitutto, a partire dal 1 agosto, verrà lanciata la nuova App “Campus Piemonte ID Studyroom” per la prenotazione delle sale studio.
La principale novità è che la nuova App permetterà di prenotare SOLO L'INGRESSO in sala studio, senza dunque permettere la scelta del posto specifico.
In via sperimentale, sarà utilizzata esclusivamente per la sala studio Verdi a partire dal 1 agosto. Dal 1 settembre, invece, sarà estesa anche alle sale studio Michelangelo, Via Giuria e Principe Amedeo.
La seconda novità è invece proprio la riapertura, dal 2 settembre, della sala studio di Via Giuria, precedentemente chiusa, che andrà a sostituire la sala studio Ormea (chiusa definitivamente perché il Collegio Einaudi ha deciso di non rinnovare la concessione degli spazi ad EDISU).
Considerato il cambio di paradigma che interesserà un servizio essenziale per noi studenti, vi chiediamo collaborazione nel segnalarci eventuali problemi/disagi/suggerimenti in modo da poter agire tempestivamente al riguardo.

Questo post vuole annunciarvi due importanti novità nel panorama delle sale studio EDISU.
Innanzitutto, a partire dal 1 agosto, verrà lanciata la nuova App “Campus Piemonte ID Studyroom” per la prenotazione delle sale studio.
La principale novità è che la nuova App permetterà di prenotare SOLO L'INGRESSO in sala studio, senza dunque permettere la scelta del posto specifico.

📢 Come fatto negli scorsi anni, condividiamo anche quest'anno alcune indicazioni utili affinché possiate calcolare voi stessi con un CALCOLO MOLTO APPROSSIMATIVO quale potrebbe essere la vostra situazione nelle graduatorie definitive del 23 settembre 2024. Per evitare incomprensioni ripetiamo nuovamente che si tratta di un calcolo approssimativo, perché ovviamente ci possono essere delle variazioni (anche significative) tra le graduatorie provvisorie e le graduatorie definitive, in base al numero di reclami accolti. Ricordiamo inoltre che, se risultate idoneз nelle graduatorie definitive, dovete rispondere alla DICHIARAZIONE DI INTERESSE con cui vengono riassegnati i posti letto lasciati liberi dallз vincitorз che hanno rifiutato o che hanno accettato con le opzioni Erasmus e Renato Einaudi.
➡️ Riportiamo di seguito i principali dati da utilizzare per questo calcolo approssimativo. Per verificare (a grandi linee) se siete posizionatз bene o male nelle graduatorie provvisorie e se possiate risultare vincitorз nelle graduatorie definitive, dovete prendere il numero totale dellз idoneз nella vostra ripartizione della graduatoria (e.g. se la vostra posizione è "000058 su totale di 117" prendete 117) ed applicate la percentuale relativa a PL / idoneз (PL residui / idoneз domanda standard per gli anni successivi o primi anni, in base al vostro caso) per la vostra sede universitaria [a titolo di esempio per chi è un Anno Successivo nella sede di Torino, il calcolo da fare è 117 (esempio usato come sopra) * 0,7827 = 91].
🔝 Se il risultato è maggiore della vostra posizione in graduatoria, allora siete messз bene (per riprendere l'esempio di sopra, 91 > 58 quindi la posizione 58 è una buona posizione).
🚫 In caso contrario è più difficile che possiate risultare vincitorз nelle graduatorie definitive.

⚠️800 STUDENTI RISCHIANO DI ESSERE CACCIAT3 DALLE LORO RESIDENZE ⚠️
Anno 2020/2021
Alle università piemontesi è stato proposto di ospitare le Universiadi Invernali del 2025, evento che porterà alla costruzione di tre nuovi studentati per lз atletз e che poi passeranno in gestione ad EDISU come residenze pubbliche per studenti, o almeno questo è quello che dice il Comitato Organizzatore.
Viene smentita la costruzione di questi studentati e, di conseguenza, il comitato organizzatore viene abbandonato da Polito e Unito
2023/2024
La nostra Regione ed il nostro Ente per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario hanno intenzione di risolvere questa problematica cacciando lз studenti dalle residenze per un mese, nel bel mezzo della sessione invernale. Come rappresentanti abbiamo provato a bloccare questa gravissima violazione del Diritto allo studio ed all’abitare.
Purtroppo non c’è stato verso, per ora, di tutelarci, né attraverso l’Ateneo né attraverso l’EDISU.
E’ inaccettabile che la mala organizzazione del Comitato Universiadi, della Regione Piemonte e del Presidente Sciretti comporti lo sfratto di oltre 800 studenti dalle proprie residenze.
Per questo nei prossimi giorni ci saranno delle mobilitazioni, perché non possiamo rimanere in silenzio davanti a tutto questo

Academic Year 2020/2021
Piedmont universities were offered the opportunity to host the 2025 Winter Universiade, an event that was supposed to lead to the construction of three new dormitories for the athletes, which would then be handed over to EDISU to be used as public student housing, or at least that's what the Organizing Committee claimed.
The construction of these dormitories has been denied, and as a result, both Polito (Polytechnic University of Turin) and Unito (University of Turin) withdrew from the Organizing Committee.
Academic Year 2023/2024
Our region and our organization for the right to university education (EDISU) intend to address this issue by evicting students from their residences for a month, right in the middle of the winter exam session. As representatives, we tried to block this serious violation of the right to education and housing.
Unfortunately, so far, we have not been able to protect ourselves, neither through the university nor through EDISU.
It is unacceptable that the poor organization of the Universiade Committee, the Piedmont Region, and President Sciretti results in the eviction of over 800 students from their dormitories.
For this reason, there will be mobilizations in the coming days, because we cannot remain silent in the face of all this.

Negli scorsi mesi EDISU ha dimostrato di voler proteggere gli interessi di una classe politica regionale piuttosto che onorare al la sua missione di garante del Diritto allo Studio. Con l’approvazione degli ultimi criteri sulle assegnazioni delle residenze per le Universiadi, questa cosa si è manifestata in pieno, coinvolgendo anche gli Atenei torinesi.
Nell’ultima riunione del Consiglio d’Amministrazione infatti, è stato ufficializzato il numero di 818 studenti che verranno cacciatɜ da ben 3 residenze: Villa Claretta (412 posti), Olimpia (252 posti) e Lingotto (154 posti). Di fronte a questi vergognosi avvenimenti invitiamo la nostra comunità, residente in residenza o non, borsista o non, a stringersi, infuriarsi, mobilitarsi. Non è accettabile che studenti come noi si ritrovino per strada per via degli interessi di una classe dirigente che si astiene o è connivente nel disinteresse totale per il nostro benessere, quando dovrebbe tutelarci. Sembra quanto mai necessario farci sentire, in forza, a partire dalle residenze ma anche nelle università, tutti i giorni.
Invitiamo inoltre chi si ritroverà a compilare questo ulteriore form a richiedere che sia EDISU a trovare una sistemazione per chi verrà costretto a sloggiare dal proprio legittimo posto letto. La monetizzazione è completamente insufficiente a trovare un’altra sistemazione, ancora di più nel periodo invernale e sotto una forte pressione turistica.

This became fully evident with the approval of the latest criteria for assigning residences for the Universiade, involving even the universities in Turin.
In the last meeting of the Board of Directors, the eviction of 818 students from three residences was made official: Villa Claretta (412 places), Olimpia (252 places), and Lingotto (154 places). Faced with these shameful events, we urge our community—whether living in residence or not, scholarship recipients or not—to unite, get angry, and mobilize. It is unacceptable that students like us are left on the streets due to the interests of a ruling class that abstains or is complicit in a total disregard for our well-being when it should be protecting us. It seems more necessary than ever to make our voices heard, strongly, starting from the residences but also in universities, every day.
We also urge those who will have to fill out this additional form to demand that EDISU find accommodation for those who will be forced to leave their rightful place. The financial compensation is completely insufficient to find another accommodation, especially during the winter period and under strong tourist pressure.
