Problem: Uniswap LPs earn fees but can't use that capital for anything else. Want to use it as collateral? You have to withdraw, killing the fee stream.

Solution: The V4 hook lets users borrow ETH directly from LP positions. The trick: it pulls ETH from bands below current spot (which are 100% ETH), so the loan doesn't move the price.
