lo0p is a Uniswap V4 hook that lets the liquidity inside an AMM pool do double duty, earning swap fees and lending ETH at the same time. The pool is divided into 100 discrete bands of 30 ETH each, and when a user locks LOOP as collateral, the hook pulls ETH from a band sitting below the current spot price, so borrowing causes zero price impact. Loans are issued at 40% LTV, and a position gets liquidated when collateral value drops below 1.5× the debt. The clever part is the self-healing mechanic: when a liquidation happens, the collateral is swapped for ETH and the proceeds are pushed back into the original band, leaving the pool deeper than before. There is no governance, no upgrades, and no team allocation, parameters are fixed at deploy. In short, it turns idle LP capital into a native lending market owned entirely by the protocol.
