β¨Scientists have now concluded that the Earth's core is a huge electromagnet. Theories of the magnetic field's origin are plentiful. To me, the most convincing is the flow of currents in the liquid metal core (external).
The Earth's core is known to consist of two parts: a solid and inner core, which is under tremendous pressure and contains mostly iron and part of the molten outer part made of nickel, and all this substance of iron mixed with nickel is constantly in motion.
The magnetic field is created by convective flows in the outer core. These flows are maintained by temperature differences between the solid inner core and the Earth's mantleβ¨

β¨As it turned out, Eastern Kenya is home to hundreds of such meteorites. Locals sold a meteorite weighing 107 kg to a collector in 2017. Following that, the inhabitants were able to collect almost a ton of fragments for subsequent sale.
Sericho is a member of the pallasite class, which includes iron-nickel alloy and yellow crystals of the mineral olivine. Olivine accounts for up to 70% of the meteorite's bulk, with the remainder made up of iron, nickel, cobalt, and phosphorus.
Currently, the total weight of the discovered meteorite fragments exceeds 2800 kgβ¨
