How Many Stars Can We See at Night?

✨That depends on many factors, including how dark the skies are where. In light-polluted areas, people see only the brightest stars and not the dimmer ones. Out in the countryside, the view is better. Theoretically, with the naked eye and good seeing conditions, an observer can see around 3,000 stars without using a telescope or binocular✨

βœ¨β€‹β€‹The dust sculptures of the Eagle Nebula are evaporating. As powerful starlight whittles away these cool cosmic mountains, the statuesque pillars that remain might be imagined as mythical beasts. Featured here is one of several striking dust pillars of the Eagle Nebula that might be described as a gigantic alien fairy. This fairy, however, is ten light years tall and spews radiation much hotter than common fire. The greater Eagle Nebula, M16, is actually a giant evaporating shell of gas and dust inside of which is a growing cavity filled with a spectacular stellar nursery currently forming an open cluster of stars. This great pillar, which is about 7,000 light years away, will likely evaporate away in about 100,000 years✨

How Long Does a Star Live?

✨Compared to humans, stars live incredibly long lives. The shortest-lived ones can shine for tens of millions of years while the old-timers can last for many billions of years. The study of star's lives and how they are born, live, and die ls called "stellar evolution", and involves looking at many types of stars to understand their life cycles✨

What Happens When Black Holes Collide?

✨Certainly, it's a very energetic event and would give off a lot of radiation. However, another cool thing happens: the collision creates gravitational waves and those can be measured! Those waves are also created when neutron stars collide✨!

Why Mars Is Red?

✨The rocks and soil on the surface of mars contains a dust that is made up of iron and few other elements. This iron reacts with molecules of oxygen to produce iron oxide, otherwise known as rust. So basically, the whole planet is rusty✨

✨The moon appears upside - down in the southern hemisphere(Australia) from that in the Northern.
This is because we're on a spherical planet.

πŸŒ‘If i stand at the North pole, with my "head up", and have a friend stand on the south pole, With their head "Up", relative to the ground, our two heads are pointed in exactly opposite direction✨
