This is the official InfinitX token FAQ channel.
You will find here the answers to your questions and the essential elements to understand the mechanisms of your favorite Reward&Rebase token.
1° What is $INX token ?

$INX is a revolutionary token that will transform the passive income system that was present on the blockchain until now.
Its unique contract gives a constantly growing price floor and a higher exchange volume than the old rewards tokens.
One of its purpose is to support the $XRP token and price with its contract and rebase system.
Based on an innovative contract, the R&R technology aims to offer investors an unprecedented rate of passive income that is far superior to that of the banking system, and this without a third party.
2° What is the $INX Rebase system ?

The $INX contract technology was developed to ensure an elastic supply.
By reducing the number of tokens in the supply several times a day, it allows for an increase in the scarcity of the token and a proportional increase in its price.
But this is not its only interest :
The growth of the price allows $INX token to be constantly placed in Top Gainer on the listing sites.
With a daily price increase of +100%, InfinitX becomes the token with the highest daily price increase, and thus appears at the top of the list.
This mechanism aims to always put the token on the podium, within the reach of any investor present on sites like CMC and CG whose traffic exceeds one million IP addresses every day.
New $INX buyers will then bring a incredible volume for rewards income directly given to our holders in $XRP.
3° Why have I less tokens than when I invested ?

As explained above, the rebase system performs a recurring decrease of the total supply (see previous paragraph).
By affecting the total supply, it will proportionally affect your portfolio, which will remain the same percentage of the total supply before and after rebasing.
Here is an example : Let's imagine that at the time of your investment the total supply of tokens is 1000 tokens and that you buy 10% of the supply, 100 tokens, for a value of 100 $USDT.
The rebase would then perform a 10% decrease : This would result in a 10% increase of the token price and a 10% decrease of the number of tokens. The total supply would then be 900 tokens (1000-10%), and you would have 90 tokens in your wallet, however the price of these tokens would have increased by 10%.
Also, you would still have the same percentage of the total supply, and therefore the value of your tokens would still be 100 $USDT.
Another example ?
Say you had 2 $INX tokens at $1 each and there are 100 $INX tokens in existence, then market cap is $100 and you own 2% of the total supply.
After Rebase, there are 50 $INX tokens and you own 1, but price is $2. You still own $2 worth of $INX tokens, you still own 2% of the total supply.
If marketcap rises to $200 you have 2x your investment.
4° I understand that I own a percentage amount of the decreasing supply but why the value of my tokens is decreasing ?
Is this normal ?

This is perfectly normal.
Just like the value of an ordinary token, the value of $INX tokens will fluctuate depending on the investors!
Investors coming in after you will increase the value of your $INX bag, while outgoing investors will decrease it.
5° How to follow my investment value ?

The supply being decreased by the rebases, it can be difficult to rely on the chart to follow the value of your investment.
The solution is to follow the Mcap.
Contrary to the price, the Mcap does not fluctuate following the rebases.
Take the time to note the Mcap when you enter.
The Mcap is available on the official group by entering the command /price
If you didnt look at the marketcap when you invested, you can calculate the initial marketcap of your purchase. If you bought 10$ of $INX tokens, and you’ve got now 20$ of it at 1M MC, it means that your initial marketcap was /2 lower than the actual one. Your initial MC was 500k.
6° What was the Mcap when the $INX token has been launched ?

The marketcap at the time of the launch was approximately $ 15 000.
7° Should I buy/sell before or after the rebases ?

There is no particular interest in buying or selling $INX tokens before or after the rebase because the rebase does not affect the value of the $INX tokens.
However, it is possible that the earlier you invest in a project, the lower the Mcap will be when you buy, the easier it will be for you to multiply your investment.
8° How regularly are the rebases triggered ?

The rebases are triggered automatically every X hours.
The team in charge of development reserves the right to activate it manually if needed to stay on top of the Top Gainer rankings.
However, the rebase does not influence the value of the token, so there is no need to request rebases in the official chat.
