An upgradable staking contract by proxy usually equals trouble. Even without a proxy, there have been so many huge staking exploits in the past.

Hi @ShidoGlobal There is a sudden owner transfer to 0x1982. The new owner immediately upgrades the StakingV4Proxy contract with a hidden withdrawToken() function. This hidden function is then called to withdraw all 4,353,473,223.864904 $SHIDO.

Quick Tip
Typically speaking, when a new chain launches it's incredibly dangerous to trade upon e.g.Blast doesn't yet have a working explorer. Explorer 1, Explorer 2 (reskinned version of Etherscan).

Common workflow of a false utility hard scammer
Despite GAS being relatively high and the launch + extras costing them upwards of $2,600, the following team decided to launch a hard scam:
π SENTRY: Meta (Meta Chain AI)
They cloned a website from another project, GraphLinq, then modified the content to suit.
Bought a domain name.
Deployed the bogus website.
Setup a Telegram group and portal.
Setup a Twitter account (may have recycled an old one).
Then launched.
In order to cost them as much ETH as possible I waited to issue a Sentry warning until just after liquidity had been added. Regardless, they proceeded to pay +$1,750 to lock liquidity and list on DexTools (DexTools need to pull their socks up) to continue the ruse.
Next, they'll execute the hard scam exploit, which is a hidden mint integrated into a Preloaded CA.
Point is, some hard scammers go above and beyond to try and fool the audience. They're dedicated, capable, fast, well-funded, and would probably sell poison to an infant (as they do to degens) if the profits were there.

Almost forgot:
The Meta (Meta Chain AI) exploit uses a hidden mint in combination with a non-verified external contract. The interesting part is that although the token contract is deployed with the external contract address hard set, the external contract isn't deployed until after launch.
Contract addresses are deterministic (derived from the deployer address + transaction nonce), which is how they've able to accomplish that sleight of hand.
Best guess: they're trying to avoid safety scanners that check whether an address is a private wallet or contract.
Also, they appear to be falsifying swaps to create the impression of interest. Alternatively, degens are getting worse.

ATTENTION!
CHIP AI booked mass DM from us and other Bots like TTF.
We sent out a Mass DM promo for CHIP AI.
TTF has discovered that: βhttps://chipai.app/ has copied their website from https://neuroni.ai/.
CHIP AI also copied their whitepaper (https://docs.chipai.app/) from NRG AI (https://whitepaper.nrgai.app/introduction/overview).
While we can't know what the outcome or intentions are of any project using our ad services, we refuse clients when we see red flags or shady activity. Outright copying of other's people's work is not something we support, and therefore would have refused it had we known prior.
That said, I advise everyone to exercise caution and do their own due diligence.β

Quick dip entry tip
Earlier today I was patiently waiting for dip entries across four different tokens.
Instead of using four browser tabs with a chart displayed in each, you can use the Multichart feature offered by DexTools (this isn't a promotion BTW) so that multiple charts are displayed in one tab. Helps to reduce clicks and strain in the old wrists.

As meme season is in full swing, and to help pay for iToken's current and future (V2 is multi-chain) running costs, I'm reopening V1's paid photo ad + pin feature.
Photo ads appear on rotation throughout the day (for 24 hours minimum) on iToken Ethereum, and are initially pinned (for 30 minutes minimum) to both iToken Ethereum and iToken Locked (pins help to draw attention, especially to fresh launches).
These adverts are not calls, they're simply a way to announce that "our project exists" in the sea of other projects, similar to trending.
In addition, there's an option to add a button linking to your project beneath each iToken post, for example.
How it works
If a meme or genuine utility project wishes to be advertised, simply DM me the following:
> Ethereum CA
> Image
> Socials links
> Short description / strapline (max 100 characters) e.g. "Meme of Hilary Clinton's pet rat".
Conditions
> Trading must be live.
> Liquidity must be locked for a suitable duration / burned.
> Contract must be verified. Obviously, anything considered unsafe will be rejected.
All the best.

On of iToken's private channels only posts when a contract is verified on Etherscan. Personally, I find this very useful as I won't consider buying any token without checking the code first, plus, socials are often found within the code comments.
If anyone is interested, the verified channel can be made publicly available (only a few hours work). Just leave a comment so I can gauge interest.

Okay, here is the new iToken Verified - Ethereum channel.
Posts are starting to appear, but consider the channel to be in test mode for now. Should be fine though.

π Launching: XAAI (X Auditor AI)
This is the second time the ZAAI false utility scammer, pretending to building a smart contract auditor with AI development experience, has been flagged.
However, not to waste content, money, and time, he's decided to push ahead and launch regardless.
His latest addition is rewriting one of my recent safety articles as his own project Medium article.
Excuse my French, but false utility farmers using technical safety as the theme really bruises my bananas.
Anyway, back to the bull...
