I wish Wesco will allow Aylesworth's bill to be heard so we could do the same...pre-emptive measures of course.

Remember when the Twitter files dropped? In case you don't remember, this was presented during the Oversight Committee of the House yesterday.

Indiana is going the wrong way. The Indiana legislature had all of the bills needed to begin the process of strengthening our elections in the state, yet they balked. What did we get instead? Opening up the mail-in ballot reqts for the entire 30 day voting season (Wesco), more machines in the precincts to display ballots - how about just using a provisional? (Wesco) and not requiring proof of residency for voter registrations delivered by hand by any individual (Wesco). The Senate still has the power to amend these atrocious bills, but will they? Do you see a common denominator? We are headed the way of Pennsylvania and Michigan folks.

What could possibly go wrong with ballot harvesting?

Mail-in Ballots

Erica has put together a great diagram illustrating everything that can go wrong with ballot harvesting.

(Find more diagrams by Erica on her channel "Election Education Materials". She also created a mail-in ballot board game to educate people about the perils of mail-in voting).

- Mail-in voting encourages threats, coercion, bribery and facilitates the erosion of privacy (which seems to be a major issue that needs to be addressed for people voting on election day but mail-in ballots that are essentially impossible to keep private are totally fine... 🀑)

- Chain of custody is the real problem, and mail-in voting essentially makes verifying the chain of custody impossible.

Not only is it extremely difficult to maintain a secure chain of custody to keep track of all the legitimate mail-in ballots up until the time they get tabulated and correctly tallied in the EMS...

- How do we make sure fake mail-in ballots never enter the system?

- But most importantly... How do we know for sure that all legitimate mail-in ballots actually got tabulated? (i.e. That none were inadvertently "misplaced", or destroyed (😱) in the process?)

⚠️If legitimate mail-in ballots were physically destroyed before they were tabulated, how would we ever know? ⚠️

(This question should really haunt election officials if they really cared about securing the chain of custody. There really is only one solution to fixing this properly. Most of you already know the answer.)

Did the Indiana Election Division advise inappropriately again? Did they err in their interpretation of CVRs being "private ballot images" (incorrectly interpreting what cast vote records are statutorily), whereby advising all 92 county clerks to NOT produce CVRs to citizen analysts? Even the National Institute of Standards & Technology deems CVRs "PUBLIC". Did you know that now legislators are passing a bill to make all CVRs 'private information' with compliance from the SOS' office per IED's testimony? πŸ€”

What is going on with the Indiana Election Division? Is bias at play?
