🖌 A new way to reply to messages
Starting today, IncogNote has stopped adding the "Reply ️ ↩️" button to the messages you receive.
Now you can reply only by sending a regular "reply" to a message in Telegram, i.e. by swiping to the left. Previously, this option was also available, and the "Reply ️ ↩️" button could even be hidden in the settings, but now it will be the only way.
This change prevents false blocking and reports and simplifies the UI.
The report menu has also been updated: it is now impossible to confuse it with anything else!

📋 Custom welcome message
If you want to say something to the person who is about to send you something, now you can! Open the settings and select "Edit welcome message"
You can write your own text that people will see when they open your link. The bot will preserve your design: bold text, quotes, special characters!

🎨 User links
We've received feedback that randomised links seem strange and even ominous.
Therefore, you can now set your @ username in Telegram as an IncogNote link!
This allows you to make them more attractive and understandable, but prevents you from appropriating someone else's link.
Your old randomised links will still work, and you can change them as you always have.
🇺🇦 This feature is already available to users from Ukraine! The rest of you have to wait until we make sure everything works well.

No more photos & videos for you.
Dear users, since you won't behave, I will permanently disable some features, including permissions for receiving photos, videos, GIFs, documents and possibly other attachments.
IncogNote was never meant as a tool for sharing illegal stuff. I'm not willing to review this high amount of reports everyday (yet, I am doing it for free for now). Despite all the moderation efforts, the numbers of reports per day are only growing, so it's clearly not efficient. However, I don't want to expose your private media to some AI moderation system, too.
Soon the custom welcome texts might become auto-moderated by the OpenAI moderation API, since they're semi-public anyways, but not the regular messages (don't worry). The reason is that there are inappropriate welcome texts already, but I don't want to make you wait for a manual review.
This is my hobby project I don't earn anything from and this decision is not likely to change.
Also, I would like to redesign the bot (icon/description/texts/etc, not the name) a bit, to make its purpose more clear, as many people think that it's an anonymous chat-roulette. If you have thoughts, ideas or feedback on it, text me here:https://t.me/IncogNoteBot?start=1b2m0f5byn
