Happy Palm Sunday
On this Palm Sunday, we remember the triumphant entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, where He was welcomed with shouts of “Hosanna!” and waving of palm branches (Matthew 21:8–9; John 12:12–13). The crowd honored Him as King, yet many did not fully understand the nature of His kingdom (John 18:36).
Jesus came not as a conquering ruler, but as a humble King bringing peace, salvation, and redemption—fulfilling the prophecy: “Behold, your King is coming to you… humble and mounted on a donkey” (Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 21:5).
His journey into Jerusalem was a step toward the cross, reminding us that true victory comes through sacrifice and obedience (Philippians 2:8; Isaiah 53:5).
As we celebrate today, we are called not only to praise Him with our lips but to follow Him with our lives (Luke 9:23). Let us receive Him as our King, walk in humility, and remain faithful, even in difficult times.
May our “Hosanna” today be a sincere expression of hearts fully surrendered to Christ (Romans 12:1).

The Crucifixion of Jesus
Mt 27:1-55 BSB
1 When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people conspired against Jesus to put Him to death. 2 They bound Him, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate the governor...
7 Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company around Him. 28 They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. 29 And they twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head. They put a staff in His right hand and knelt down before Him to mock Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” 30 Then they spit on Him and took the staff and struck Him on the head repeatedly.
31 After they had mocked Him, they removed the robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him away to crucify Him...
