I’m very disappointed.
Honestly they had a no win scenario here. Halo 2 had massive improvements that made it far superior than halo 1, plasma pistol shots disabling vehicles, dual wielding, no fall damage, high jumps, etc.
I don’t think they could made those changes to the original without changing what made the original so good, but if they left it out it would interrupt the fun for people that have gotten used to the improved quality of life.
If they had not including the DEI shit, and the out of bounds shit I could forgive. But this was a game that always favored exploration and finding unique ways to tackle a challenge, they spoiled that with halo 3 by having hard clip walls that put you on a rail shooter.
Now they’ve done it for the remake of 1.
