The action of the add-on for The Witcher 3 will take place in Velen and the Northern Kingdoms, not in Zerrikania.

An insider clarified that players will see new territories in familiar regions, as creating another biome would be too resource-intensive.

The DLC will connect the third part with the next game through Kovir and Poviss, and the release may take place in May - believe the insiders.

If this is confirmed for may, I may get out Witcher 3 again.

The remake of Splinter Cell is still in production, announced game director David Grivel.

Ubisoft Toronto is developing the game on the Snowdrop engine, preserving the linearity of the original, but updating the graphics and adapting the script to modern standards (oh no).

The game, which does not yet have a release date, will create a solid foundation for the future of the entire franchise.

I think Amazon gets last dibs on games because they aren't also a physical retailer? Probably multiple reasons for this, but this happens to me sometimes when I preorder a big game from Amazon. I have the same situation as the people from this reddit

The closure of Bluepoint Games sparked a negative reaction online (no shit, it was a terrible decision and Sony's own fault).

The media noted that over the past six years, Sony has acquired ten studios, but three of them have already been closed amid a review of its service strategy:

🔵 Housemarque
🔵 Nixxes Software
🔵 Firesprite
🔵 Fabrik Games
🔵 Bluepoint Games – closed in 2026
🔵 Valkyrie Entertainment
🔵 Haven Studios
🔵 Bungie
🔵 Neon Koi – closed in 2024
🔵 Firewalk Studios – closed in 2024

The closure of Bluepoint Games sparked sharp criticism online, as Sony forced the team to work on a previously canceled online game based on God of War instead of the usual remakes.

"With a whole library of series that fans are asking for remakes of, Sony buys a well-known studio with experience in updating cult games. And then closes it down five years later. Help me make sense of this" — blogger Canadianguyehh.

"Sony tasked Bluepoint with a remake of Demon's Souls. It turned out great, so they bought them to stop doing things like that. A monumental failure for which someone in management should be held accountable" — blogger MightyKeef.
