14 Canadian Companies Currently Hiring Foreign Workers with LMIA Approval (2025)

If you're looking for real job opportunities in Canada with visa sponsorship this one is backed by official government data.

As of Q1 2025, 14 employers in Newfoundland and Labrador received positive LMIA approvals to sponsor foreign workers. That means they're legally allowed to hire non-Canadians for open roles.
3
What is LMIA?
It's a government document that proves a Canadian company tried but couldn't find a local worker and now needs a foreign hire. Without LMIA, most employers can't legally bring in workers from abroad.

Top 2 employer Approved
approved positions:
Barry Group Inc. - 102 positions approved
St. Mary's Bay Fisheries Inc. - 137 positions approved

Both are in the fish and seafood processing industry under NOC codes like 94142 and 95107 - perfect for applicants with little formal education but hands-on skills.

How to Apply (step-by-step):
1. Write a Canadian-format resume (focus on the job duties in NOC 94142 or 95107).

2. Search the company websites
up their listings on:
JobBank.gc.ca
Indeed.ca
Workopolis.com

3. Email the HR or recruitment contact directly.
Mention that you saw their company listed in the latest LMIA-approved employers list.

4. Attach your resume, a short intro paragraph, and be ready to show your passport or basic credentials.

Note: Many of these jobs fall under the low-wage or agriculture stream, but they come with a pathway to PR if you gain Canadian work experience and apply

Disclaimer: This information is based on
public LMIA data. Always verify job offers directly with the employer
