Re-Registration Reminder and Queries

Today, June 30th, is the last date for Re-Registration for the July 2025 session.(It will surely extend up to 30th July 2025)

Queries Regarding Re-Registration:

1.What is re registration?
Re-Registration means to enroll in next year or next semester in your current programme.


2.Who is eligible for re-registration?
All sem based students need to re-registration every 6 months( bca mca mba etc)
All year based(BAG, BSCG, MHD etc) programme students have to re-register every year.


3.I did not complete my current session, Can I re-register for my next semester/year?
Yess, if you have not completed your current session codes even if you have backlogs in your all codes still you have to re register for next year/session.


4.What if i missed re-registration ?
You will miss your next semester/year, But you can appear for the TEE exam for previously registered papers, if anything is leftover. And also by missing the last date you are wasting 6 months from the maximum permissible period to complete the course.


5. I'm not receiving the OTP while re-registering what to do ?
If you are facing an issue with receiving the OTP during your re-registration, please send an email to your Regional Center and send the email on this address registrarsrd@ignou.ac.in


6. My fee has been deducted, but re-registration is not completed what to do ?
If you have paid the re-registration fee and your application is showing as incomplete, please wait for 48 hours. If the issue persists, send an email to your regional center and send the email on this address registrarsrd@ignou.ac.in

7.Will the Re-registration Date be Extended?
Yes, it will surely extend upto 30th July 2025.
