There was a problem with invitation rewards during the last validation. The rewards for cross-shard invites were not paid. The invitation fund was distributed only among the identities eligible for invitation rewards who had their invitees in the same shard.
We have located the problem and work on the solution which will be announced later. Please follow the updates.

We plan to release a hard fork update before the next validation to fix the invitation rewards issue. Once the hard fork is activated all invitation rewards for the upcoming validation will be paid normally: the earlier the invitation is activated, the more invitation rewards will be paid for it.

To make another small step towards DAO, in mid-September the Idena community initiated a discussion about the governance mechanics of the community wallet. As a result, four government proposals have been made and all-network oracle voting launched. The proposal chosen by the oracle will be used to manage the funds of the community wallet.

A new version of the Idena node 0.28.0 has been released. It's a seamless hard fork update. Please update your node to vote for the upcoming changes. The voting starts automatically on November 15th at 8:00 UTC.

Hard fork changes:
- Invitation reward bug fix
- Distribution of reporting rewards for newbies bug fix
- Shard id for Candidates calculation bug fix
- Finalizing validation ceremony bug fix
- Oracle voting smart contract: decreasing the minimum deposit for the whole network voting

Other changes:
- Shard id for non validated address calculation
- Changing priority for deferred transactions
- Providing disconnection reason for peers
- Adding peers for shared nodes (shared profile)
